What is entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurship is defined as the process of making money, earning profits, and increasing the wealth by one who possesses characteristics such as risk-taking, management, leadership and innovation. Entrepreneurship is the continuous pursuit of turning ideas into businesses that generate revenue. A business (also known as an enterprise or firm) is an organization engaged in the selling of goods, services, or both to consumers. A person can be an entrepreneur (have their own business) and work for another business. People who want to pursue entrepreneurship must have some level of ambition, self-motivation, good organization skills, patience, dedication, financial management, interpersonal skills, creativity, etc. The list can go on and on, but the traits listed are necessary. If you do not possess some of these skills, look to partner with people who possess the skills that are not your strong areas (this will help you form a strong and high performing team).
